Dry Skin Needs Help

Low humidity and dry skin are hard to combat with.  Harsh winds, sun and the cold all cause your skin to ail.  When the skin on your face and body are particularly dry, you could experience itchiness, redness, and a burning sensation on the skin surface.   In the winters preventive lifestyle and simple home remedies can help you.

However, those suffering from chronic dry skin the year through will have to follow a preventive regime regularly. Just in case there is no relief it will be wise to contact your dermatologists.

The most important way to deal with dry skin is to moisturise it up to 4 times a day. Using a thicker formula cream helps lock in the water in your skin for longer periods. So opt for heavy creams.

Creams with Hyaluronic Acid are the best for dry skin and can change your skin’s feel surprisingly. Hyaluronic Acid is the magic ingredient.

Lactic acids found in milk help penetrate deep into the skin and helps re-hydrate it.

Bathe in lukewarm water. Hot water tends to give your body the comfort it needs, but it dries the skin more than you can imagine.

In take of omega 3 fatty acids, found in flax-seed, Salmon, Mackerel are good for your skins health.

Use soaps made especially for dry skin or a body wash that is creamy and comes with moisturising ingredients, cocoa butter, olive oil, coconut oil etc

Avoid cleansers that upset the natural ph balance of your skin.

Psoriasis and eczema  are skin conditions that can lead to very dry skin.

“GOOD MAKEUP STARTS WITH GOOD SKIN”

Personalize you skin care routine.

Very few of us have it lucky and the rest have to work every day to have that, “much desired smooth flawless skin.”

I do not see looking after your- self is hard work in any way. It boosts self confidence and makes you walk tall.

Many I meet, “belittle themselves and how they look.” When I ask them about their skin care routine, the answer is almost the same from every one, “I did it in the past but, it got so boring that I discontinued.”

No one has achieved anything without effort. And tending to self, is no sweat at all.

“Foundation lays itself flawless on good skin. The results are surprising.”
